A city formed using Einstein Tile shaped districts which themselves form the unique pattern for spells.

The lore for this is, as always, yours to make. But for me, I envision it as a failed project by "Arcane-Bros" trying to sell land and profit but without the real expertise in making a functioning city. And so, the city is based in inhospitable desert, filled with malfunctioning, or simply broken, spell districts, and rapidly becoming a dystopia for anyone who isn't already at the increasingly distant Top. Something Something Arcane-Punk.

Image is a 400dpi scan of a hand drawn map so there are some spelling mistakes, errors, and just weird choices, as always. If you spot them, well done. At least one or two of them are intentional this time.
